Sunday 25th November, 10:30am. Toy Celebration

A Gift that will make a difference
Southfield Church is linking up with the ‘Christmas - Give a Gift’ shop in the precinct which is being co-ordinated by Christians Together in Nailsea and District. The shop will collect donations of food, toys and toiletries to distribute to the Food Bank and other organisations supporting local families.

We are having a Toy Celebration on Sunday 25th November. We want to give gifts to those in Nailsea who are in financial difficulties and say thank you to God for the many blessings He has given us. It will be a café-style church service. Coffee, tea and cakes are served from 10:15 and there will be activities for the younger children – they do not have to sit still. More drinks when we finish – about 11:15am.

Could you bring a new toy or one in pristine condition on that Sunday? It would be amazing to have lots toys to give to those who will not have much this Christmas.

The shop will be open 11:30am – 1:00pm and 3:00pm – 4:30pm, Monday 26th November to Thursday 29th November. Then on Friday 30th November it will be open 2:00pm – 8:00pm.

A café-style service. Activities for children. Tea, coffee, cakes for everyone.

Speaker: Clive Cornish
Clive is a Christian who frequently walks carrying a 12ft wooden cross in Wales and elsewhere, talking to people about his faith.
He has quite a story to tell. Coming from a broken background and being a former drug user, Clive served a six-year jail term for robbery before becoming a Christian. He knows that it was God’s love that rescued him from a life of alcohol, drugs, crime, violence and prison.
Do come and meet him and hear what he has to say.
